In the heart of Georgetown, is also  home of Long Live GoGo’s resident creatives, the gallery is alive with art, sound, and storytelling rooted in cultural identity and community defense.

At 1223 Potomac, we are committed to defending the arts—not just in theory, but in practice. That means providing space and support for creatives who are often marginalized, creating opportunities for authentic expression, and maintaining an ongoing dialogue between heritage and innovation. Our work honors the legacy of DC’s homegrown art and music scenes while actively resisting erasure and gentrification through creativity and community engagement.
